Research Project "Self-regulation at work"
This research projects investigates the activities individuals pursue at work, that is, outside formalized training activities, in order to improve one's work strategies and performance. In this context, deliberate practice is an interesting concept. It was developed within the framework of expertise research to explain high performance in domains such as chess, music, or sports. The present project examines the role of deliberate practice for performance in work-related tasks.
