Teaching / Research Projects

Teaching / research projects over a period of 2 or 3 semesters, in which the participants develop a question, investigate this question empirically in a practical area und publish the results. Mostly these teaching / research projects are based upon research projects launched by our department.

Nearly every semester one of these teaching / research projects is started. As possible, diploma theses should interlock with one of there projects. A typical example for the results of such a teaching / research project (including the diploma theses written in this context) is the book by Frese, M. (Hrsg.) (1998). Erfolgreiche Unternehmensgründer. Göttingen: Hogrefe.

In there very labor-intensive teaching / research projects the participants learn to develop an applied question in detail, analyse it, put it into practice and to publish it. Thus they learn applied skills as well as scientific thinking (scientist-practitioner model).

Teaching / research projects are suited for students, who want to deal intensively with the arae of Work- and Organizational Psychology. According to experience, the participation in these projects increases the potential to get a job in the area of Work- and Organizational Psychology.
