Creation and Implementation of Radical and Incremental Innovation. An International Comparison at Multiple Levels of Analysis
Student Training for Entrepreneurial Promotion. This project is conducted in cooperation with the Makerere University Business School, Kampala, Uganda as well as further universities in Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya.
Throughout the 21st century, demographic change will lead to significant transformations in the world of work. Most importantly, the number of young and highly qualified employees is going to decrease and organizations will have to increasingly rely on older people.

Psychological Factors of Entrepreneurial Success in Germany and China
Im Rahmen unseres Projektes soll untersucht werden, wie sich der Arbeitsmarkt in Deutschland bis 2020 entwickeln wird und welche unternehmerischen und personalwirtschaftlichen Herausforderungen sich daraus ergeben.
In contrast to conventional training methods that seek to avoid errors and that emphasize direct instruction, an error management approach assumes that errors during training are inevitable and even have the potential to promote learning and performance.
This research projects investigates the activities individuals pursue at work, that is, outside formalized training activities, in order to improve one's work strategies and performance. In this context, deliberate practice is an interesting concept.
This teaching / research project is now going on for four semesters and enables students to actively take part in the current research. In that way the academic studies of Work- and Organizational Psychology is designed very practical.
